National Conference on “Unveiling the Power of Authentic Journalism” Concludes on a High Note
Gopalpur(PBNEWSLIVE)The two-day National Conference on “Unveiling the Power of Authentic Journalism: Communication in the Digital Era,” organized by the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, reached its conclusion with a vibrant valedictory session.
Sri Sampad Mahapatra, an eminent senior journalist, film director, and former bureau chief of NDTV Bhubaneswar was the chief guest for the occasion. His enlightening and interactive session added significant value to the conference. Sri Hrusikesh Panigrahi, Former Director of All India Radio, Berhampur, and Chief Executive Officer of Ame Sabu, also graced the event as the guest of honour.
The Convener of the Conference and Head of the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, Prof. Ganesh Sethi delivered the Compendium address. This marked a moment of reflection at the insightful conference.
It was followed by the certificate distribution to the presenters of the conference. A remarkable total of 64 papers were presented over the two days, carefully selected from numerous submissions received for this pan-India conference.
Sri Sourav Prakash Shit, the Organizing Secretary, extended the vote of thanks.
The success of the event was made possible by the efforts of an exceptional team. Dr. Ganesh Sethi, was the Convener. Dr. Bandita Kumari Panda and Dr. Jayanta Kumar Panda, as Co-Conveners, along with Organizing Secretary Shri Sourav Prakash Shit and Joint-Secretaries Shri Agni Kumar Behera, Dr. Neha Pandey, and Dr. Chinu Bohidar. Special acknowledgment goes to the students and scholars from the Journalism and Mass Communication department, whose dedication and hard work made this event a success.
